About the Role

We are looking for a Marine Engineer to start ASAP for an oil and gas operator that’ll be based in an offshore FPSO in the Timor Sea for a12 months' contract duration, 3 weeks on; 3 weeks off roster.

The Marine Engineer will provide technical maintenance and utility operations support to the offshore Facility, and other services as required

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test facility equipment and systems.
  • Complete maintenance activities, work orders, and accurate MMS records.
  • Support plant modifications and changes through approved MOC processes.
  • Maintain required competencies and provide training and support to personnel.
  • Perform operational support tasks, including first aid, fuel testing/refuelling, and laboratory testing.
  • Undertake supervisory responsibilities and other duties as required.

  • Essential

    • TBOSIET/BOSIET/TFOET/FOET
    • CA-EBS
    • Offshore Medical
    • MSIC
    • Marine Engineer CoC - AMSA Engineer Class 2 or above
    • Gas Test Atmospheres (within 3 years)
    • Working at Heights (within 3 years)
    • Confined Space Entry / Enter Confined Spaces (within 3 years)

  • Preferable:

    • DG by Air Awareness (current)
    • HRWL - Dogging, Rigging and Scaffolding
    • FTMO (within 4 years
    • Respond to Helideck Incident (within 4 years)
