This role is responsible for coordinating shore-based logistics, vessel support activities, crew administration, regulatory reporting, technical coordination, and operational support for marine and offshore operations.\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient vessel operations, strong stakeholder relationships, regulatory compliance, and effective local support to offshore activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nVessel Operations & Logistics\nAct as a primary point of contact between charterers, vessel masters, and shore-based stakeholders regarding operational matters.\nCoordinate logistics activities supporting vessel operations, including provisions, port calls, agency services, and vessel requirements.\nArrange transportation between ports, airports, warehouses, offshore bases, and vessels.\nEnsure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.\nDevelop and maintain a network of local suppliers, logistics providers, service companies, and agents.\nSupport technical, crewing, and operational activities in coordination with company stakeholders.\nSpare Parts, Customs & Freight Coordination\nCoordinate the import and export of vessel supplies, equipment, tools, and spare parts.\nLiaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and government authorities.\nEnsure all customs documentation and clearance processes are completed accurately and on schedule.\nMonitor and track shipments to maintain visibility of inbound and outbound logistics activities.\nProvide logistics and customs support to vessel crews and operational teams.\nRegulatory Compliance & Local Content\nSupport compliance with local content and regulatory requirements.\nCollect, verify, and report information related to local employment, procurement, training initiatives, and stakeholder commitments.\nMaintain positive relationships with government agencies and regulatory authorities.\nMonitor regulatory developments and ensure operational compliance.\nCrew Coordination\nServe as the focal point between the company, recruitment partners, local service providers, and employees.\nCoordinate mobilization and demobilization activities.\nSupport onboarding, certification management, medical examinations, travel arrangements, and workforce administration.\nMaintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with local labor requirements.\nAssist with workforce planning and staffing requirements.\nStakeholder Management & Local Representation\nProvide operational support to visiting personnel, contractors, vessel crews, and management teams.\nDevelop and maintain effective relationships with:Port Authorities\nCustoms and Immigration Authorities\nGovernment Agencies\nShipping Agents\nLogistics Providers\nRecruitment and Crewing Partners\nLocal Suppliers and Contractors\n\nUtilize local knowledge and professional networks to facilitate smooth operational execution and problem resolution.\nBusiness Representation\nAct as a professional representative of the organization within Guyana.\nSupport the continued growth and successful long-term establishment of local operations.\nPromote strong relationships with clients, authorities, and industry stakeholders.\nQualifications\nEducation\nRelevant education within shipping, maritime operations, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.\nEquivalent industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.\nExperience\nExperience within the maritime, offshore, shipping, logistics, energy, or oil and gas sectors.\nPrevious exposure to vessel operations, charter-party administration, or marine logistics.\nExperience engaging with government authorities and regulatory bodies.\nProven ability to coordinate personnel, contractors, and third-party service providers.\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations within Guyana.\nSound knowledge of local administrative and regulatory processes.\nEstablished industry network and stakeholder relationships within Guyana are highly desirable.\nGood technical understanding of vessel operations and marine equipment.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nProficiency with
