The role offers exposure to electrical substations, transmission line projects, and capital project execution, with responsibility for helping deliver work in line with project objectives, specifications, and standards. This position will also support technical problem-solving, contractor coordination, and transition management across project stages.\nRequired Education:\nBS or MS degree in an engineering field\n\nRequired Experience:\nExperience across engineering, construction, and project management and controls activities\n\nPrior experience supporting electrical substation and transmission line projects\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in the high voltage electrical field and/or oil and gas industry\n\nBroad experience gained through multiple functional and project assignments\n\nRequired Skills:\nEngineering design evaluation and project delivery within budget and scheduling restraints\n\nKnowledge of high voltage electrical facility design and associated U.S. regulations and standards, including NEC and API 14F\n\nUnderstanding of the selection and specification of electrical systems and equipment such as transformers, switchgear, reclosers, protective relays, and HV/MV power cables\n\nKnowledge of ERCOT and/or SPP grid design, operation, and capabilities\n\nAbility to support Invitation to Tender development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection\n\nExperience coordinating project issues resolution, change requests, and project stage transitions\n\nStrong leadership, influencing, interpersonal, coordination, and planning skills\n\nAbility to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities\n\nExcellent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking\n\nProficiency in MS Office suite\n\nPrior experience using PLS-CADD\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong preference for Electrical Engineering or a related field of study\n\nAbout Airswift:\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
