The role ensures timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services in compliance with project specifications, budget, schedule, and company policies while managing suppliers' performance, risks, and internal/external stakeholder interfaces.\nThe Project Procurement Manager will report directly to Group Chief Procurement Officer.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProcurement & Supply Chain Management:\nDevelop and implement the project procurement strategy aligned with project execution plans.\nManage procurement of long-lead items, bulk materials, packages, and services\nPrepare and control procurement schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones.\nLead tendering, bid evaluation, contract award, and purchase order execution\nEnsure compliance with company procedures, HSE, QA/QC, and ethical standards.\nVendor & Contract Management:\nPrequalify, evaluate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors.\nLead commercial negotiations and finalize contractual terms.\nDevelop, monitor key suppliers’ performance key performance indicators. Manage supplier performance, expediting, inspection, and logistics activities.\nResolve claims, variations, and disputes related to procurement contracts.\nCost & Risk Control:\nControl procurement budgets and track commitments and expenditures.\nIdentify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks.\nSupport project cost forecasting and cash flow planning.\nEnsure effective management of change orders and variations.\nProject & Stakeholder Coordination:\nInterface closely with wells, engineering, construction, planning, logistics, QA/QC, and finance teams.\nCoordinate with project management on priorities and execution challenges.\nProvide regular procurement status reports to senior management.\nCompliance & Reporting:\nEnsure adherence to group procedures, PSA regulations, local content, customs, and other regulatory requirements as required.\nMaintain accurate procurement documentation and audit trails.\nSupport internal and external audits as required.\nKey Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics or related field.\n10+ years of procurement experience, including min 5 years of senior leadership.\nStrong experience in wells contracting.\nProven knowledge of contract types (LSTK, reimbursable, unit rate, frame agreements).\nFamiliarity with international suppliers and logistics.\nCIPS or equivalent supply chain certification (optional).\nPMP or project management certification (optional).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to distill complicated problems into coherent, logical terms and defined evaluation steps.\nProblem solver with a strong analytical mindset.\nStrong business acumen.\nWell-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across different cultures.\nProficiency with sophisticated evaluation and modeling techniques/software.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.\nExceptional interpersonal and communication skills.\nSelf-motivated with a high level of initiative.\nSkills & Competencies:\nStrong analytical, commercial and negotiation skills.\nSolid understanding of oil & gas equipment and materials.\nExcellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.\nExperience with ERP systems.\nFriendly demeanor.\nAbility to work in multicultural and fast-paced project environments.\nNot the job you are looking for?
