The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all Permit to Work (PTW) activities across construction and restoration work fronts, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of project activities.\nThis role serves as a critical interface between Operations, Project Management, EPC Contractors, Subcontractors, and Asset Owners to facilitate permit approvals, manage worksite coordination, monitor SIMOPS activities, and ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and PTW requirements.\n Key Responsibilities \nPTW Coordination & Management\nCoordinate and support all Permit to Work (PTW) activities associated with project execution.\nReview, monitor, and audit PTW implementation by EPC contractors and subcontractors.\nEnsure proper permit categorization and compliance with company PTW procedures, including:\nCold Work Permits\nHot Work/Open Flame Permits\nConfined Space Entry Permits\nSupplementary Certificates and Authorizations\n\nInterface daily with Operations Permit Coordinators, Asset Owners, and Project Teams to secure and maintain safe work fronts.\nTrack permit status, validity, renewals, and close-out requirements.\nConstruction Interface & Work Front Management\nCoordinate work activities between contractors, subcontractors, operations personnel, and asset owners.\nFacilitate efficient allocation of work fronts while ensuring compliance with PTW requirements.\nResolve permitting conflicts and identify potential operational constraints impacting construction activities.\nSupport manpower planning and work-front availability to optimize construction execution.\nSIMOPS & Risk Management\nParticipate in and support risk assessments related to project activities.\nCoordinate Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) activities to avoid operational conflicts.\nEnsure mitigation measures are in place for high-risk activities.\nMonitor compliance with safety controls and implement corrective actions where required.\nPlanning & Daily Coordination\nLead and facilitate daily PTW coordination meetings.\nPrepare, update, and distribute daily and weekly permit plans and work schedules.\nCoordinate package permits, blanket permits, and task supervisor sequencing activities.\nCommunicate work priorities and permit requirements to all stakeholders.\nReporting & Documentation\nMaintain accurate PTW registers, permit logs, supplementary certificates, and audit records.\nMonitor PTW performance KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.\nProvide regular updates and reports to Construction Leadership.\nMaintain PTW records in accordance with company document retention requirements.\nTrack overdue permits, certificates, and compliance actions and escalate as necessary.\nStakeholder Management\nAct as a focal point between:\nOperations Teams\nEPC Contractors\nSubcontractors\nConstruction Teams\nAsset Owners\nProject Management Teams\n\nMaintain effective communication across all project stakeholders.\nSupport resolution of PTW-related issues impacting project execution.\nHealth, Safety & Environmental Compliance\nChampion a strong safety culture and promote safe work practices at all times.\nEnsure all activities comply with company Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Quality, and PTW standards.\nSupport site inspections, audits, and safety reviews.\nTake proactive measures to prevent incidents and protect personnel, assets, and the environment.\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline. \nMinimum 8 years of experience in large-scale Oil & Gas projects.\nProven experience in construction-related disciplines such as:\nConstruction\nInstallation\nFabrication\nCommissioning\nCompletion\nHook-Up\nProject Execution\n\nExperience working with:\nOil & Gas Operators\nEPC Contractors\nService Companies\nHeavy Construction Organizations\n\nDemonstrated experience managing Permit to Work systems within live operating facilities or major project environments. \nStrong knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and procedures.\nUnderstanding of SIMOPS coordination and risk management processes.\nFamiliarity with construction execution planning and contractor management.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.\nKnowledge of budgeting and project control processes is advantageous.\nNot the job you are looking for?
