This Senior Accountant opportunity offers broad exposure to IFRS, local GAAP, tax, treasury, audit, financial reporting, and internal control within a complex international environment.\nThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring group accounting policies are applied and that internal control procedures are followed. The position includes monthly closing activities, preparation and review of monthly reporting packages, balance sheet analysis at consolidation level, and support for directional and IFRS reporting.\nKey responsibilities:\n- Perform monthly closing tasks\n- Prepare and review monthly reporting packages\n- Analyse balance sheet positions at consolidation level\n- Support IFRS and directional reporting activities\n- Participate in contract analysis and review of related legal documentation\n- Prepare audit packs and liaise with external auditors\n- Prepare tax packages in cooperation with the Tax Manager\n- Support tax reporting activities\n- Prepare financial statements for entities within scope, including audit and filing requirements\n- Liaise with partners to obtain accurate financial data\n- Contribute to process efficiency and continuous improvement\n- Ensure internal controls are applied in line with framework requirements\nRequired education:\n- Business School qualification or a financial and accounting related degree\nRequired experience:\n- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related accounting environment or within an audit firm\n- Experience working in an international environment\n- Experience supporting statutory accounting and tax requirements\n- Experience in audit processes and internal control\nRequired skills:\n- Strong knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition, IFRS 16 Leases, and IAS 37 provisions, contingent liabilities and assets\n- Strong understanding of statutory accounting and tax requirements\n- Bookkeeping and transaction management capability\n- Invoice management and P2P support process knowledge\n- Vendor management experience\n- Analytics and reporting capability\n- Risk and internal control knowledge\n- Contractual and commercial awareness\n- Master data set-up and interface knowledge\n- Strong stakeholder management skills\n- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal\n- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking\n- Ability to work under pressure and meet specific deadlines in a fast-moving environment\n- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nAbout the company:\nThis company is a recognised leader in floating production and mooring systems, production operations, terminals, and related services within the global offshore energy industry.
