ENGINEER\nAccountabilities\nThe Senior Contract Engineer is responsible for:\nProducing contractual documents in accordance with company procedures and ethics.\nProviding a high-quality, cost-effective, and time-efficient contracts service to technical entities.\nParticipating in the optimisation of the economic performance of operations conducted within NOC.\nKey Activities\nContracts Management & Stakeholder Coordination\nThe jobholder liaises with internal teams and actively participates in contracts processes and communication activities through:\nWorking closely with the DUET counterpart to create contract dossiers.\nDeveloping clear definitions of contractual responsibilities.\nDiscussing and aligning contractual agendas, including:Validation of contract strategies.\nNegotiation and analysis of commercial bids.\nParticipation in recommendations for contract award.\n\nEnsuring all insurance matters relating to company assets and personnel are properly addressed.\nManaging individual performance through KPI monitoring.\nMaintaining and updating the contracts management tool.\nRemaining informed of contract management best practices implemented in other entities to improve NOC contract practices.\nUtilizing Frame Agreements (FALTC) signed by shareholders.\nTendering, Contracting & Commercial Activities: The job holder executes the following contract activities:\nMarket Intelligence & Contractor Management\nPreparing and maintaining an up-to-date list of qualified contractors, suppliers, potential tenders, and contracts.\nMaintaining updated market information to support market studies.\nAnalyzing and assessing all possible responses from the market.\nContract Strategy Development\nParticipating in the validation of contract strategy through:\nArranging and attending Contracts Committee meetings.\nPre-qualifying bidders.\nDefining target prices.\nDefining evaluation criteria.\nTender Preparation & Issuance\nCreating commercial documents for Calls for Tender (CFT).\nPreparing and issuing Calls for Tender to contractors and suppliers included on approved bidder lists.\nEnsuring preparation and distribution of pre-consultation dossiers and Standard or Complex Invitations to Bid.\nContract Compliance & Governance\nVerifying alignment with HSE clauses, Company Rules, Procedures, Instructions, and applicable legislation when issuing technical contracts and drafting contractual and commercial terms and conditions.\nVerifying all Terms & Conditions, including standard, general, and financial provisions.\nContract Development & Negotiation\nEstablishing technical contracts and contractual agreements.\nDirectly participating in the most complex contracts.\nConducting Terms & Conditions analysis and negotiations.\nConducting commercial bid analysis and negotiations.\nWorking with the DUET counterpart to establish clear definitions of responsibilities and associated contractual documentation.\nAward & Approval Process\nParticipating in Recommendations to Award (RTA) through Contract Committees and Delegation of Authority (DOA) processes.\nEvaluating RTAs and award validations.\nManaging approvals from authorities and partners.\nClarifying rights and obligations of signing parties.\nManaging the signature process of formal contractual documents.\nContract Administration & Claims Management\nEnsuring effective handover of contracts to Partner Entities.\nAssisting the Head of Contracts in the settlement of claims and lawsuits in coordination with:Juridical\nInsurance\nFinance\nManagement\n\nProposing negotiation strategies and corrective actions.\nParticipating in settlement negotiations.\nMonitoring ongoing contract status.\nParticipating in contract renewal and amendment discussions.\nContext & Environment\nThe Senior Contract Engineer operates within a multidisciplinary contract management environment and is responsible for establishing contractual documents while contributing to the optimisation of operational economic performance across subsidiary operations.\nThe role includes:\nEstablishing, monitoring, and updating contracts for a variety of services.\nEnsuring all contract activities remain aligned with OPS/TDA standards and requirements.\nMentoring and supporting Contract Engineers.\nWorking within a high-volume, operationally critical contracts environment.\nQualifications & Experience Required\nEducational QualificationBSc Degree in a Science or Commercial field, or equivalent qualification.\n\nProfessional Experience5-7 years of post-graduate experience in contracts within the Oil & Gas industry.\nMinimum 2 years of experience as a Contract Engineer within the
