The role focuses on the design, development, implementation and commissioning of PLC, SCADA and HMI control systems, supporting complex automation and industrial communications solutions. This position will also play an important part in technical documentation, troubleshooting and cross-discipline project delivery.\nRequired Education:\nDegree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Control Systems Engineering or a related discipline\nRequired Experience:\nStrong professional experience in industrial automation and control systems\nExperience in mining projects or the heavy industry sector\nDemonstrated experience taking control system solutions from concept and detailed design through to implementation and commissioning\nExperience supporting or leading FAT, SAT and site commissioning activities\nExperience coordinating with electrical, instrumentation, process, mechanical and project engineering disciplines\nRequired Skills:\nDesign, development and implementation of PLC, SCADA and HMI control systems\nDevelopment of control philosophies, functional descriptions, I/O lists, network architectures and technical documentation\nPLC and HMI/SCADA programming, configuration and testing\nStrong troubleshooting capability across control, instrumentation, communications and automation systems\nExperience with industrial communications and networked control systems\nAbility to interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, control philosophies and functional specifications\nStrong technical communication and documentation skills\nAbility to review engineering designs and provide technical guidance to project teams\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with platforms such as Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Emerson or ABB\nAbout Airswift:\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
