The role sits within a dynamic project team focused on electrical design across High Voltage and LV systems up to 33kV, supporting technically complex project delivery in a collaborative engineering environment. This position will suit candidates who are confident working with vendor documentation, power system studies, cable sizing and technical design deliverables.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and review electrical design documentation and drawings\nReview vendor technical documentation and design deliverables\nSupport power system studies including load flow, short circuit and harmonic analysis\nPrepare cable sizing calculations, cable schedules, MTOs and equipment lists\nEnsure compliance with Australian and international standards and codes\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.\nRequired Education:\nAustralian accredited 4-year engineering degree\nRequired Experience:\n8-12 years of WA iron ore or similar industry experience\nExperience working with High Voltage and LV systems up to 33kV\nExperience reviewing vendor technical documents and drawings\nExperience supporting studies and developing MTOs and lists\nRequired Skills:\nPower system studies including load flow, short circuit and harmonics\nFamiliarity with Australian and international standards and codes\nCable sizing and schedule development\nAbility to work autonomously and communicate effectively with management, co-workers, clients and other stakeholders\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail in problem solving\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with software design tools such as Smart Plant, DIgSILENT Power Factory, ETAP, SKM Power Tools and CDEGS\nAbout Airswift:\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
