This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex greenfield and brownfield projects while working with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, and project delivery.\nThe successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in instrumentation, control systems, functional safety, and industrial cybersecurity, with experience in large-scale industrial environments.\n Key Responsibilities \nPerform high-level Control Systems and Instrumentation engineering activities.\nDefine, coordinate, and review detailed technical studies for process plants, utilities, infrastructure, and energy projects.\nSupport brownfield modifications and upgrades to existing facilities.\nAssist with project scoping, concept development, and cost estimating activities.\nDevelop and evaluate instrumentation and control system designs.\nCollaborate with OEMs and vendors to deliver effective control and instrumentation solutions.\nProvide technical input into plant layouts, ensuring instrumentation and control requirements are fully considered.\nDevelop and review engineering documentation including:P&IDs\nControl narratives\nLogic diagrams\nFunctional block diagrams\nInstrument datasheets\n\nVerify contractor compliance with Functional Safety requirements.\nReview and manage compliance with Industrial Cybersecurity lifecycle requirements.\nWork closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders to support project objectives.\n To be successful in this role, you will need have: \nDegree qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or related Engineering discipline.\nProven experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering within industrial, mining, green energy, utilities, or process plant environments.\nStrong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and communications networks.\nExperience with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.\nKnowledge of Functional Safety principles and relevant industry standards.\nExperience with industrial cybersecurity requirements and compliance programs.\nDemonstrated experience on both greenfield and brownfield projects.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.\nAbout Airswift\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
