You will drive contractor engagement, constructability reviews, modularisation opportunities, commercial alignment and delivery readiness, ensuring the project achieves the best possible outcomes before progressing into execution.\nWorking closely with engineering, procurement, commercial and delivery teams, you will coordinate contractor inputs across multiple disciplines while maintaining alignment between design development, construction planning and commercial objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) process across a complex multidisciplinary project scope.\nManage ECI deliverables, governance requirements, contractor engagement activities, programmes and performance.\nDrive contractor input into constructability, construction methodology, sequencing, logistics, modularisation and execution planning.\nCoordinate design and constructability reviews between contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.\nEnsure contractor recommendations are appropriately assessed and incorporated into project delivery strategies.\nWork closely with commercial, procurement and contracts teams to evaluate pricing submissions, risk allocations and procurement approaches.\nCoordinate interfaces between key project packages, long-lead equipment suppliers and delivery stakeholders.\nChallenge contractor assumptions relating to programme, procurement, construction methodology, risk and commercial positions.\nMaintain alignment and consistency across competing contractor submissions during evaluation and contractor selection processes.\nSupport the transition from preconstruction activities through to contract award and project execution.\nAbout You\nDegree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.\nProven experience as a Senior Project Engineer, Preconstruction Manager, ECI Lead or similar role on complex capital projects.\nStrong owner-side project engineering capability with the ability to engage and influence contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and construction packages through design and preconstruction phases.\nDemonstrated exposure to ECI, tendering, D&C, EPC, EPCM or GMP contracting environments.\nStrong understanding of constructability, project planning, procurement, risk management and delivery strategies.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.\nCommercially aware with the ability to balance technical, delivery and commercial priorities.\nHighly Regarded\nExperience delivering major industrial, infrastructure, mission-critical or technically complex facilities.\nPrevious involvement in projects transitioning from concept or reference design through preconstruction and contract award.\nExperience working with modularisation, prefabrication or advanced construction methodologies.\nExposure to highly regulated or high-availability operating environments.\nBackground across sectors such as advanced manufacturing, healthcare, telecommunications, technology, resources or industrial infrastructure.\nWhy Apply?\nJoin a leading project owner delivering a significant capital project in Western Australia.\nPlay a critical role in shaping project delivery strategy during the preconstruction phase.\nInfluence contractor selection, commercial outcomes and execution planning.\nWork within a high-performing owner's team on a technically complex development.\nGain exposure to all stages of project development from preconstruction through to delivery.\nApply now or reach out directly for a confidential discussion.\nEmail: \nMobile: 0429 602 607\nNot the job you are looking for?
