The role will primarily support major clients' sustaining capital projects, with occasional involvement in gold sector developments and other commodity projects.\nWorking within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy environment, you will be responsible for the design, review, and delivery of structural engineering solutions from concept through to detailed design and project execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver structural engineering design and analysis for sustaining capital mining projects.\nPrepare and review calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.\nProvide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.\nLiaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to develop practical engineering solutions.\nEnsure designs comply with relevant Australian standards and client requirements.\nContribute to project planning, scheduling, and risk management activities.\nParticipate in design reviews, constructability assessments, and technical workshops.\nRequired Experience\nDegree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.\nProven experience working on WA mining projects within an Engineering Consultancy or EPCM environment.\nPrevious involvement in Sustaining Capital (SUSCAP) projects.\nStrong experience across structural steel and reinforced concrete design.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.\nPreferred Technical Background\nExperience in the design and assessment of:\nStructural steelwork\nReinforced concrete structures\nConveyors, chutes, bins, and crushing & screening structures\nTransfer stations\nPipe racks and support structures\nHeavy equipment slabs, pedestals, and foundations\nMaterials handling infrastructure\nAbout You\nStrong technical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.\nCapable of working independently while contributing to collaborative project teams.\nCommitted to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nAbout Airswift:\nAirswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
