With over 1,000 employees and 9,000 contractors operating in over 70 countries, our geographical reach and pool of talent available is unmatched in the industry.\nAirswift is seeking for Sr Diving Supervisor to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHigher National Certificate (HNC) (or) Diploma (or) relevant Apprentice from recognized universities with extensive offshore installation/diving experience. Diploma qualification is not mandatory if the candidate has the following certificates:\n\nIMCA Closed Bell Diver\n\nIMCA Air Diving Supervisor\n\nIMCA Bell/Saturation Diving Supervisor (Class III)\n\nNDT Operator level 2 (Optional)\n\nEXPERIENCE \nMinimum 12 to 15 years of experience in offshore construction/installation/diving out of which 10 years in oil & gas industry.\n\nThis position predominantly focuses on Oil & Gas offshore subsea installations; hence the candidate must have experience in offshore construction vessels, DSVs etc. with proven experience in subsea pipeline installation, subsea power, composite and FO cables, Umbilication Installation, Subsea flanges tie-in and riser installation using stack-on method.\n\nPrevious experience as CSR (Company Site Representative) in Diving Vessels and IMCA audits is highly preferred.\n\nOffshore Air Diving and Saturation Diving Supervisor experience.\n\nShould have the following additional qualifications\n\nIMCA Closed Bell Diver\n\nIMCA Air Diving Supervisor\n\nIMCA Bell/Saturation Diving Supervisor (Class III)\n\nNDT Operator level 2 (Optional) Hands on experience on the following is preferable\n\nPrevious experience as Diving Representative would be an added advantage.\n\nBoat Landing Replacement\n\nRiser, J-Tube Installation and Sub- Sea spool tie-in\n\nMattress and crossing installation.\n\nUmbilical installation including I-Tubes\n\nSubsea spool cutting/deconstruct/demolition etc.\n\nWater Jetting, Removal of Debris and marine growth from Jackets and other sub-sea assets\n\nSpool and PLEM Tie-in with ROV simultaneous operation\n\nPipelay and Jackets Installation\n\nRemoval of redundant riser and pipelines from Seabed.\n\nAbility to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems related to diving activities and suggest solutions.\n\nGood communication and report writing skills.\n\nPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOverall responsible for diving activities including vessel deployment preceding and during diving deployment on board the vessel.\n\nReview, comments and approve contractor submitted procedures, dive plans and method statements and provide input when reviewing or developing new work instructions and procedures.\n\nEnsure that the work is carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with scope of work, approved engineering standards, Company regulations and specifications and IMCA standards\n\nMonitor, Control and supervise all diving activities onboard the DSV vessel representing Company project department assigned projects in offshore.\n\nCoordinate with Company Marine (dive boats section) and manage all inspections of dive boats, diving spread, IMCA audit/inspection, punch list close-out and finally ensure that the dive vessels and the diving spread are mobilized in full compliance with COMPANY regulations, international standards and IMCA guidelines.\n\nEnsure to issue Daily Progress Report (DPR) to projects highlighting the daily activities, areas of concern and propose mitigation measures.\n\nEnsure diving operations are carried out from a suitable and safe location on the surface and in compliance with Air and Nitrox Dive Manual, The Diving Project Plan and any permit-to-work system.\n\nEnsure that Safety Meetings and Risk Assessments are held and documented on a regular basis. Participate actively to the preparation of JSAs, MOCs and daily progress meetings.\n\nEnsure that all Hazard Observations, Safe Act, Unsafe Act & Conditions, Near Misses & Incidents are reported.\n\nProactive safety while performing site construction / installation/diving activities in live plants and ensure site compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulations.\n\nUnder general supervision of Head, Construction and/or Company Representative, take the decisions on the project issues within the framework of respective contract documents and /guidelines, in close coordination and concurrence with the Project Team.\n\nAccountable for efficiently managing all diving activities.\n\nFrequent long working hours may be required including out-door field work.\n\nExposed to multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment requiring special management skills.
