With backing from our investors, including Blackstone, this is just the beginning…\nCome join the A-Team at AirTrunk, where the cloud meets the ground.\nA Snapshot \nAs the Data CentreOperationsDirector, you will report to the Regional Data CentreDirector- South Asia, and work closely with the rest of the Operationsteam, making your mark in a number ofways: \nLead the Operations teams, including the Senior Technical Services Managers, Technical Services Managers, Building Services Managers, Site Facilities Management Teams, Smart Hands & 3rd party FM (Facility Management) Services providers \nAssist maintain and develop the AirTrunk Operations philosophy of high availability, long term efficiency and first-class customer service \nOversee handover and operational readiness of new capacity \nApply the following governance frameworks: \nEngineering practices \nSafe control of works \nVendor and contract management practices \nCommercial and financials \n Your Day to Day \nExecute all aspects of data centre operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of services and mission critical systems supporting a 24x7 data centre operation to achieve 100% uptime and compliance with customer SLAs (Service Level Agreements) within all facilities under your city-wide remit \nSupervise integration of construction activity, in coordination with internal and external construction resources, and ensure system design, installation & testing adhere to operational standards \nAttend witness testing of all equipment during commissioning to validate sequence of operations and receipt of all operational documentation \nIdentify, evaluate, and implement operational strategies to achieve the highest level of availability and operational efficiency for the data centre \nManage 3rd party outsourced FM Services \nBe responsible for local change management processes \nLead a team to schedule and complete all planned and emergency maintenance events \nLead all incidents at the property including technical, operational and security, facilitate emergency responses procedures, resource coordination, customer communication, post event root cause analysis and ongoing problem management \nDeliver accreditation to various compliance initiatives, including, but not limited to, ISO 27001 and SOC2 \nEnsure compliance with local regulatory requirements including environmental, building, fire, electrical, mechanical, and safety \nDevelop relationships with customers and function as an escalation point during emergency events and day-to-day operations \nResponsible for the execution of data centre services such as smart hands, customer installations and service requests within agreed timeframes \nManage service contracts ensuring compliance with maintenance standards, operational requirements and agreed annual CAPEX/OPEX budgets \nDevelop and manage the OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements \nAssist in the PO/AP process to ensure alignment to financial control procedures \nIdentify improvements that generate operational and financial efficiencies including the development and presentation of the supporting business case \nSupervise operational metrics, data and analyse risks for strategic direction and control for both day-to-day reporting and long-term trend analysis \nRequirements \n8+ years of experience in a critical operational environment and a minimum of 2 years in a senior operations role \nFluent in English and another local language \nBachelor’s engineering degree (ideally electrical engineering) \nProven experience leading a technical team with the ability to continue building the team camaraderie and positive culture \nExperience working for a data centre operator and previous hyperscale experience \nStrong leadership skills to lead a highly technical team as well as engage in robust discussions with technically competent key partners and customers \nYou are flexible, forward-thinking, and adaptable \nExcel at communication; you can deliver effective presentations on data centre operations to customers, peers, and management \nFamiliar with the ITIL framework and its application in a data centre \nThe AirTrunk Culture \nWorking at AirTrunk is a once in a lifetime opportunity to fast-track your career and amplify your impact.
