Read ouroperating principles to see it in full.\nHow you'll make impact\nYou’ll bring on new customers across Germany, building a territory from the ground up through focused, AI-assisted outbound prospecting and close collaboration with SDR and Marketing teams.\nYou’ll own the full sales cycle, from pipeline creation and discovery through pitching, negotiation and close, helping ambitious businesses solve complex finance and payments challenges across accounts, FX, payments and cards.\nYou’ll build trusted relationships with founders, finance leaders and senior stakeholders, tailoring Airwallex’s value proposition to their needs while leading complex, multi-product commercial discussions.\nYou’ll maintain a disciplined operating cadence through accurate CRM management, forecasting, pipeline coverage and conversion, while using AI tools to accelerate research, personalisation and deal execution.\nYou’ll work from our Berlin office three days a week.\nWhat we're looking for\nEssentials\n3+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, with a track record of top performance and at least 2+ years in an outbound role before that.\n\nExperience launching a new territory or market and building pipeline from scratch.\n\nAbility to understand complex technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products, including accounts, FX, payments and cards, to solve customer finance and payments problems.\n\nExperience developing and executing territory plans, with the judgment to design and iterate sales playbooks for Germany.\n\nStrong presentation and communication skills for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders, including CXO-level buyers.\n\nProven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements and multi-product sales.\n\nSuperior verbal and written communication skills in German and English.\n\nStrong interest in technology and a good understanding of the payments space.\n\nAbility to operate in a highly ambitious, fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial, builder mindset and strong intrinsic motivation.\n\nYou'll thrive here if\nYou have a track record of hitting your numbers, and you’re motivated by stretch goals.\n\nYou own the outcome and you don't wait for permission to fix what's broken.\n\nYou're comfortable with ambiguity.
