Read ouroperating principles to see it in full.\nHow you'll make impact\nYou’ll build stablecoin infrastructure from the ground up, enabling customers and internal systems to buy, hold, send, and settle with tokenised currency globally.\nDesign and implement secure systems for key management, transaction signing, gas fee management, and blockchain integration.\n\nOwn services across the full lifecycle of stablecoin transactions, including minting, burning, transfers, and reconciliation.\n\nBuild internal ledgering systems that track balances across multiple chains and token types.\n\nIntegrate stablecoin infrastructure with Airwallex’s existing FX and payment systems to enable seamless conversion between supported currencies and stablecoins.\n\nWrite, review, and ship production code while partnering with Product, Infrastructure, and Compliance to deliver reliable and auditable services.\n\nYou’ll work from our Singapore office five days a week.\nWhat we're looking for\nEssentials\nFive or more years of experience as a software engineer, with deep expertise in object-oriented design and production-grade software development.\n\nStrong experience with at least one strongly typed language, such as Kotlin, Java, C#, C++, or Rust. Python experience is useful but isn’t sufficient on its own.\n\nProven experience building and integrating blockchain infrastructure, such as wallets, transaction flows, or key management, into larger financial systems.\n\nExperience integrating new systems into legacy or distributed environments without introducing instability or regressions.\n\nStrong understanding of secure system design, particularly private key handling, signing, encryption, and operational controls.\n\nAbility to quickly pick up unfamiliar tools or frameworks and adjust to changing technical priorities.\n\nClear communication skills and the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and non-technical teams.\n\nPreferred\nExperience in FX, payments, or financial infrastructure.\n\nYou'll thrive here if\nYou're comfortable owning the roadmap yourself.\n\nYou own the outcome and you don't wait for permission to fix what's broken.\n\nYou're comfortable with ambiguity.
