You’ll turn complex data into clear recommendations that improve decision quality, reduce decision latency, and guide roadmap and investment decisions.\nDrive product and business decisions by translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.\n\nBuild scalable analytics systems and decision frameworks that help teams understand what changed, determine what to do next, and learn whether an action worked.\n\nPartner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define success metrics, and measure the impact of initiatives.\n\nImprove decision quality by applying statistical analysis, experimentation, and quantitative methods to large and complex datasets.\n\nInfluence product strategy, investment decisions, and roadmaps through reliable analysis and clear communication with executives and cross-functional stakeholders.\n\nYou'll work from our Singapore office five days a week.\nWhat we're looking for\nEssentials\nAt least five years of industry experience in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.\n\nA degree in Computer Science, a quantitative discipline, or a related field.\n\nExpert-level experience with SQL and Python, R, or comparable scripting and statistical tools.\n\nStrong experience applying statistical analysis, experimentation, and quantitative methods to drive data-informed decisions.\n\nExperience working with large and complex datasets to solve ambiguous business or product problems.\n\nExperience communicating analytical findings and recommendations to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.\n\nA track record of influencing product strategy, investment decisions, or roadmaps through data.\n\nStrong understanding of data modelling and schema design.\n\nPreferred\nExperience in technology, financial services, fintech, or another high-growth environment.\n\nExperience building scalable analytics systems, experimentation frameworks, or decision-support infrastructure.\n\nExperience applying machine learning or AI to product, business, or customer problems.\n\nYou'll thrive here if\nYou're comfortable owning the roadmap yourself.\n\nYou're comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and moving quickly anyway.\n\nYou’re comfortable operating across time zones with a globally distributed team, including colleagues based in APAC and EMEA.\n\nYou can advocate hard for a position, then fully support the team's direction once a call is made.\n\nYou simplify complexity rather than hiding behind it.\n\nLearn more about your team\nData Science at Airwallex is evolving from individual analyses and standalone models into scalable systems of decision and action.
