Read ouroperating principles to see it in full.\nHow you'll make impact\nYou'll build and improve frontend experiences that simplify expense management for businesses, from real-time expense tracking and automated receipt capture to approvals and integrations.\nBuild maintainable, scalable web interfaces using React and TypeScript, contributing to a domain-based Micro Frontend architecture.\n\nPartner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to clarify requirements, iterate quickly, and deliver high-quality experiences in production.\n\nIntegrate frontend applications with backend services through Apollo GraphQL and a Backend-for-Frontend layer, while contributing to shared UI components and the team's design system.\n\nRaise engineering standards through code reviews, testing, documentation, bug triage, frontend performance improvements, and participation in Frontend Guild discussions, technical spikes, and experimentation.\n\nYou'll work from our San Francisco office three days a week.\nWhat we're looking for\nEssentials\n6+ years of professional frontend software development experience.\n\nA bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\nStrong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS, and modern web development practices.\n\nExperience integrating frontend applications with APIs and improving frontend performance.\n\nA track record of writing well-tested, maintainable code and contributing to technical documentation.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design.\n\nPreferred\nExperience with GraphQL, design systems, or Micro Frontend architecture.\n\nExposure to CI/CD, monitoring, and frontend observability tools.\n\nAn interest in product development and a user-centric mindset.\n\nYou'll thrive here if\nYou're comfortable owning the roadmap yourself.\n\nYou own the outcome and you don't wait for permission to fix what's broken.\n\nYou're not precious about your ideas.
