For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer.\nCore Knowledge & Skills: Designs complex network and hybrid-cloud solutions; implements security controls, DR/BCP, and automated IaC with deployment pipelines; performs advanced performance tuning.\n\nWork & Complexity: Solves complex issues, designs and delivers new infrastructure solutions, performs capacity planning, and leads advanced automation initiatives.\n\nQuality & Independence: Drives root-cause analysis, enforces best practices and QA on changes, optimizes for reliability and user experience; operates with high autonomy.\n\nTeamwork & Communication: Leads cross-functional efforts, mentors juniors, facilitates knowledge transfer, and aligns stakeholders with technical plans.\n\nConsulting & Engagement: Provides strategic input on infrastructure initiatives, recommends advanced technologies, and manages vendor relationships.\n\nAs your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Azure Web Services Cloud Administrator - Mid.\n\nProject Summary\nAIS is supporting federal customer with a program focused on architecture and infrastructure.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintains smooth operation of different cloud-based systems, including coordination with network administrators.\n\nSets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation for cloud infrastructure and tenant inventory, tunes system performance, installs system wide software and allocates mass storage space.\n\nRespond to large-scale events involving instantiation of virtual resources such VMs and storage.\n\nFix critical software and system failures.\n\nPropose, drive and implement technical solutions for automation, efficiency and scalability.\n\nDevelop/improve tools, reports, and processes to monitor the health of cloud environment.\n\nRequired For This Opportunity\nBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n\n4+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.\n\nCertifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.\n\nActive Secret clearance (or higher).\n\nExperience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.\n\nNice to Have Skills\nExperience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.\n\nAt AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.\n\nThe targeted base salary range for this role is $102,000-$154,000 per year.
