For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Associate Infrastructure Engineer.\nCore Knowledge & Skills: Applies fundamentals of networking, OS administration (Windows/Linux), basic cloud concepts, scripting (PowerShell/Bash), Git, and IaC; performs routine installs, updates, backups, monitoring, and documented troubleshooting under guidance.\n\nWork & Complexity: Handles well-defined maintenance and support tasks; resolves straightforward incidents; creates basic infrastructure documentation.\n\nQuality & Independence: Follows standards and SOPs, executes accurately and on time, escalates appropriately; operates with limited decision latitude while focusing on learning.\n\nTeamwork & Communication: Supports senior engineers, collaborates across IT, communicates status, and documents changes; assists users and incorporates feedback.\n\nConsulting & Engagement: Provides basic technical assistance, shares emerging best practices, suggests small process improvements, and coordinates with vendors on simple issues.\n\nAs your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Azure/M365 O&M Engineer.\n\nProject Summary\nAIS is seeking an Azure/M365 Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to provide dependable day-to-day operations, monitoring, change implementation, and incident response for Azure and/or Microsoft 365 services delivered to the customer.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonitor and maintain Azure and M365 services, including identity, networking, compute, storage, collaboration, governance, and platform monitoring components.\nInvestigate and resolve incidents, service requests, recurring problems, and performance issues in accordance with agreed service levels.· \nImplement approved changes, maintain configuration documentation, and support release and maintenance activities.\nPerform backup, recovery, access, health-check, and capacity-management activities as assigned.\nCreate and refine runbooks, knowledge articles, dashboards, and operational reports.\nWork closely with project teams during service transition and early-life support.\nRequired For This Opportunity\n4+ years in Azure, Microsoft 365, or enterprise cloud operations.\nExperience with Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure networking, and M365 administration.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across identity, network, endpoint, and application service layers.\nExperience working in ticketing, change-control, and knowledge-management processes.\nAbility to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with users and engineers.\nNice to Have Skills\nAzure Government, GCC High, or NIST-based environment experience.\nAzure Administrator or Microsoft 365 Administrator certification. \nExperience with Teamcenter, SharePoint, Exchange Online, or Purview operations.\n\nAt AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.\n\nThe targeted base salary range for this role is $77,000-$117,000 per year.
