For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Infrastructure Engineer.\nCore Knowledge & Skills: Manages routing/switching and network security, multi-OS environments, virtualization (e.g., VMware/Hyper-V), core cloud services, and release of IaC via pipelines; automates common admin tasks.\n\nWork & Complexity: Plans and executes upgrades/migrations, configures network devices and services, responds to incidents, monitors performance, and manages resources.\n\nQuality & Independence: Implements proactive monitoring, produces accurate documentation, improves processes, and works independently within project scope.\n\nTeamwork & Communication: Partners with peer teams, shares knowledge, coordinates changes, reports progress, and supports/train users.\n\nConsulting & Engagement: Advises internal teams on solutions and tools, evaluates technologies, recommends optimizations, and coordinates vendor support.\n\nAs your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a DevSecOps Automation Engineer.\n\nProject Summary\nThe DevSecOps Automation Engineer builds secure, repeatable automation that enables a large-scale enterprise cloud migration program as applications move from on-premises data centers to Azure and AWS. The role develops secure infrastructure as code, reusable CI/CD pipelines and migration scripts, and automated security and operational validation for migration, rollback, and recovery activities. Working closely with enterprise platform and security teams, the engineer applies established automation standards and repositories while embedding security, configuration, authentication, and operational controls throughout the migration lifecycle. The role is remote.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelops and maintains secure, reusable infrastructure as code for Azure and AWS target environments using established enterprise patterns and repositories.\nBuilds and maintains reusable CI/CD pipelines, scripts, and workflows that automate application migration, configuration, deployment, validation, rollback, and recovery.\nAutomates security, compliance, configuration, and policy checks within build and deployment workflows.\nCreates automated pre- and post-migration validation to confirm infrastructure, applications, authentication, connectivity, configuration, and required services operate as expected.\nIntegrates approved security controls and guardrails into automation in coordination with enterprise platform and security teams. \nMaintains source control, documentation, and reusable automation assets that improve migration speed, consistency, traceability, and repeatability.\nSupports migration teams and guides less experienced engineers in DevSecOps automation, secure pipeline practices, troubleshooting, and remediation.\nRequired For This Opportunity\nUS Citizen\nMinimum five years of DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud automation, or infrastructure automation experience\nHands-on experience developing secure infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar tools\nExperience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools, including automated testing and security checks\nExperience automating deployments in Azure and AWS cloud environments using secure identity, access-control, and configuration practices\nWorks on issues of diverse scope under limited guidance and independently determines the approach to assignments\nNice to Have Skills\nExperience with Azure Government or AWS GovCloud environments· \nAzure DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or relevant cloud security or automation certification\nStrong scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages\nExperience automating cloud migration, validation, rollback, recovery, or security-control tasks\nFederal program delivery experience\nExperience with GitHub, secure source-control practices, workflow automation, and GitHub Copilot\nFamiliarity with Zero Trust, DevSecOps automation practices, and the practical use of AI technologies in IT delivery or cloud environments \n\nAt AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.\n\nThe targeted base salary range for this role is $90,000-$137,000 per year.
