Job Summary

The Data Center Operation and Managed Service Engineer is responsible for delivering operational and technical support services to data center customers. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, service continuity, and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). This position works closely with customers and internal teams to provide 24/7 support, monitoring, incident response, and managed services.

Job Description

• Provide 24/7 operational support, after-sales services, and managed services for data center customers.
• Coordinate and communicate with customers, service delivery teams, facility teams, network teams, and other stakeholders.
• Execute service provisioning activities and fulfill customer service requests within the agreed scope and SLA.
• Verify the identity and authorization of personnel requesting services or access to restricted data center areas.
• Deliver Smart Hands support, equipment inspections, information requests, and other operational services.
• Monitor data center infrastructure, environmental conditions, alarms, and customer equipment as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, perform initial troubleshooting, and coordinate with relevant teams until resolution.
• Provide timely incident notifications, escalations, status updates, and follow-up communications to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain operational documentation, including shift handover reports, service requests, incident logs, and customer activity records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure Operations, Colocation Services, Networking, or Data Center Facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of data center operations, monitoring systems, incident management, and service support processes.
• Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• English communication skills, both written and spoken, will be considered an advantage.
