This position requires strong technical expertise in data analytics and relational databases, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nGather requirements, collect data, and design and develop reports to address emerging stakeholder needs.\nDevelop scalable, high-performance queries and analytics tools.\nResearch, understand, and integrate data from disparate sources.\nCreate reports, dashboards, and other analytics products supporting mission and business requirements.\nCommunicate effectively with clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams.\nRespond to evolving client requirements within tight timeframes.\nRequired Qualifications\n\n5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, reporting, or a related field.\nExperience developing reports and dashboards.\nStrong SQL skills and knowledge of data concepts.\nExperience with relational databases, particularly Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.\nExperience developing queries using ElasticSearch and/or OpenSearch.\nExperience researching, understanding, and integrating disparate data sources.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nBachelor’s degree or higher; Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred. A degree is not required with suitable relevant experience.\nExperience with AWS services, including S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and OpenSearch/ElasticSearch.\nExperience with JSON and JSON format mediation techniques.\nExperience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins and Git.\nKnowledge of modern data management patterns, including:Data warehouses\nData marts\nData lakes\nDelta lakes\nLakehouses\nData mesh architectures\n\n U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DHS 6C Public Trust (Full BI).\n\nAt AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.\n\nThe targeted base salary range for this role is $110,000-$166,000 per year.
