Candidates must be adept at leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Amazon Q Developer) to accelerate delivery, while applying strict\nKey Responsibilities\nWrite, review, and refactor Java (Spring Boot) back-end and Angular 21 front-end code.\nUse AI tools to generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and perform application modernization tasks.\nEnsure AI-generated outputs strictly adhere to security, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL database standards.\nManually review, debug, and optimize code to prevent integration issues and low-quality abstractions.\nRequired For This Opportunity\nActive Top Secret Clearance and the ability to work on site in Washington DC\nUndergraduate or masters degree in Computer Science\n5+ years of software engineering experience.\nStrong expertise in Java/Springboot, Angular(version 17 or higher), PostgreSQL, and AWS environments.\n4+ Years Experience In JAVA/Springboot\n4+ Years Experience in Angular\n3+ Years Experience in PostgresQL\nDemonstrated experience working in AI-assisted development workflows.\nExcellent debugging and architectural design skills to steer AI agents effectively.\nNice to Have Skills\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.\nContinuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.\nExperience working in Agile development environments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.\n\nAt AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.\n\nThe targeted base salary range for this role is $159,000-$240,000 per year.
