Design mechanisms, payloads, wiring and enclosures, from CAD model and prototyping to manufacturing and NPI handover. Take full ownership of the mechanical aspects of a project\nComplex Trade-Offs: Expertly navigate and optimize conflicting constraints, including Size, Weight, and Cost (SWaP-C), manufacturing complexity, thermal management, vibration isolation, and environmental sealing\nSimulation Capabilities: Bring in your expertise in thermal and structural analysis to establish and build our in-house simulation infrastructure\nPrototyping to Production: Seamlessly transition between building rapid Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) in the lab and finalizing high-end, robust designs. Partner closely with the NPI team to ensure your designs are manufacturable and scalable\nCross-Disciplinary Expansion: Step beyond pure mechanics to collaborate heavily with systems, hardware, and software teams, expanding your expertise into system integrations and robotics\nRequirements\nB.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering\n5+ years of mechanical design experience in multidisciplinary, high-reliability fields (Aerospace, Defense, Drones, Robotics, or similar)\nExpert-level proficiency in SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD tools)\nDeep understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, specifically CNC machining, sheet metal, and additive manufacturing / 3D printing.
