for mechanical parts and maintaining compliance with QMS requirements.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nRead and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, work orders, inspection manuals, and related documents to determine inspection and test procedures.\nCarry out source inspections, audit mechanical vendors, and communicate with suppliers regarding inspection results and quality requirements.\nInspect materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to specifications.\nCheck mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for proper alignment and functioning.\nMark items for acceptance or rejection, record inspection/test results, and compare findings with specifications.\nAnalyze and interpret sample data.\nClean and maintain test equipment and instruments.\nMonitor inspection and test equipment readings, verify equipment condition, and report any abnormal readings or calibration concerns.\nControl non-conforming products and reject materials or equipment not meeting requirements.\nManage supplier corrective action requests (SCARs), follow up on root cause analysis and corrective actions, and verify effective closure.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce quality issues, improve inspection effectiveness, and strengthen supplier quality performance.\nMaintain records of inspection and testing equipment.\nMaintain quality records and prepare handover packages/dossiers.\nInspect packaging of finished mechanical parts before shipment. • Report quality activities and monitor performance indicators.\nCompetencies (Skills)\nKnowledge of mechanical parts production processes such as machining, coating, and painting.\nExperience in analyzing CMM reports.\nExperience using inspection tools such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Thickness Gauge.\nClear written and oral communication skills.\nTeamwork and positive team participation.\nPlanning, organizing, and multitasking abilities.\nQuality control analysis and inspection capability.\nQualifications\nUnderstanding of ISO 9001 requirements and preferably AS9100D.\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nWorking knowledge of GD&T, ASME, and ASTM standards.\nAbilities Needed\nGood near vision for detailed inspection work.\nAbility to distinguish color variations and shades.\nAbility to communicate clearly.\nAbility to keep hand and arm
