You will take ownership of the electrical system architecture and power distribution of advanced semiconductor equipment. From high-level system design to detailed implementation, you will shape reliable, compliant, and future-ready systems that enable cutting-edge performance.\nYou will define system structures, interfaces, and technical requirements - transforming complexity into scalable solutions. Whether selecting and integrating sensors, actuators, and motion components or supporting vacuum, thermal, and process subsystems, you will ensure seamless electrical and software integration across the entire machine.\nBeyond technical excellence, you will lead modules, coordinate contributors, mentor engineers, and ensure configuration consistency across releases. Working closely with manufacturing, service, supply chain, and global development teams, you will turn architecture into operational reality.\nYour work powers precision, performance, and progress.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and optimize main and low voltage power distribution systems with focus on reliability, maintainability and compliance \nDefine system architecture, interfaces and technical requirements for electrical and control systems \nSelect and integrate sensors, actuators and motion components for industrial environments \nSupport integration of vacuum, thermal and process-related subsystems from an electrical perspective \nStructure and maintain large E-Plan projects according to company standards \nConduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and structured risk assessments; drive mitigation actions \nUnderstand Software (PLC) architecture and help with in site trouble shooting\nLead technical modules, coordinate contributors and mentor engineers \nPerform engineering data analysis using Excel or scripting tools to support decision-making\nManage engineering changes across modules and releases, ensuring configuration consistency \nCollaborate closely with manufacturing, service, supply chain and global development teams \nQualifications & Skills\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, or related fields\n2-10 years of professional experience in electrical system design within industrial or semiconductor equipment \nStrong knowledge of power distribution, control architecture and system integration \nStrong knowledge of motion control, programmable logic controller architecture and automation topology\nExperience in requirements engineering, system architecture and cross-module dependency management \nSolid understanding of systems thinking, including interfaces, dependencies and risk impacts\nProficiency in E-Plan; solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management\nStructured problem-solving mindset using root cause analysis and analytical tools \nSound understanding of international standards and safety regulations \nStrong ownership, technical leadership and cross-cultural collaboration skills \nFluent English \nWorking Conditions\nRole based at AIXTRON Malaysia Sdn.
