In this role, you will define and shape system-level architectures for advanced semiconductor equipment. You translate complex requirements into robust, scalable, and compliant system concepts, ensuring seamless integration across mechanical, electrical, automation and process domains.\nYou will act as a technical driver across interfaces, and you navigate competing priorities with confidence. You balance performance, cost, manufacturability, and risk while embedding compliance with international standards and internal governance from the very beginning.\nYour work lays the foundation for innovation - turning complexity into clarity and ambition into robust, production-ready systems\nResponsibilities\nDefine and manage system requirements across cross-functional interfaces \nDevelop and maintain system schematic architecture, including mechanical, vacuum, thermal, exhaust, power distribution and automation concepts \nLead structured risk assessments (FMEA) and drive preventive design decisions \nApply structured problem-solving methods such as root cause analysis and 8D for complex technical issues \nEnsure compliance with ISO, CE, SEMI and safety standards \nDrive change and configuration management across modules and releases \nEstablish high-quality technical documentation standards and mentor others \nCollaborate closely with global engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams \nQualifications & Skills\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field with \n2-10 years of professional experience in system engineering or complex equipment development \nStrong expertise in system architecture definition and requirements engineering \nSolid understanding of vacuum systems, thermal systems, mechanical design, materials and process fundamentals \nExperience in tolerance analysis, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing\nProficiency in 2D, ability to open and read 3D CAD (e.g. Creo), Product Lifecycle Management and enterprise resource planning systems \nAnalytical mindset with strong data analysis capabilities \nProven ownership, technical leadership and ability to drive cross-functional alignment \nFluent English communication skills \nWorking Conditions\nRole based at AIXTRON Malaysia Sdn.
