We offer competitive benefits, outstanding technical expertise, development opportunities and training.\nResponsibilities\nInbound Logistics\nOversee timely receipt of raw materials, components and packaging from local and international suppliers.\nCoordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to align delivery schedule with production plans.\nEnsure timely customs clearance, quarantine/inspection processes and compliance with Malaysian regulations\nOptimize freight cost and transportation efficiency.\nMonitor inbound delivery adherence vs. plan and drive recovery actions.\nManage inbound prioritization (e.g., critical materials, line-down risk).\nOptimize inbound consolidation strategies and Incoterms utilization.\nOutbound Logistics\nPlan and execute finished goods dispatch and distribution to customers (export and domestic)\nEnsure on-time delivery performance while controlling freight costs by optimizing local and international shipping arrangements.\nEnsure proper export documentation and trade compliance\nEnsure customer delivery requirements (OTIF, documentation accuracy) are consistently met.\nAlign shipping priorities with customer demand and business commitments.\nLMW License and Compliance\nAct as the appointed responsible person for LMW compliance with full accountability.\nEstablish and maintain internal controls for bonded warehouse operations.\nLead or co-lead LMW license application, renewal, and expansion if required.\nManage bonded inventory control and reporting.\nMaintain accurate records of duty-exempt materials and finished goods.\nPrepare required customs reports and documentation for audits and inspection by authorities.\nEnsure zero non-compliance incidents and maintain audit readiness at all times.\nWarehouse & Material Circulation to Shopfloor\nLead warehouse operations including raw material, WIP, finished goods, and consumables.\nDesign and implement efficient material flow from warehouse to production lines.\nEnsure execution of material flow in line with material and production plans,\nEscalate execution risks impacting production to Planning teams,\nOptimize space utilization, layout, material handling equipment and tools.\nInventory Management\nFollow inventory policy to maintain optimal inventory levels balancing working capital.\nMonitor inventory accuracy and conduct cycle counts\nLead annual physical inventory audits\nAnalyze slow-moving and obsolete stock\nInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and drive root cause analysis for variance reduction.\nTeam & Performance Management\nDirectly lead, train and supervise warehouse employees including supervisor, executive, material handlers.\nConduct performance evaluations, daily task allocations.\nManage 3PL and monitor performance metrics in SLAs to ensure adherence to the standards.\nDrive continuous improvement in logistics and warehouse performance such as on-time rate, inventory accuracy, LMW audit score, etc.\nQualifications and Skills Required \nBachelor’s degree in logistics, supplychain management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.\n5-8 years in logistics and warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in managerial role in manufacturing companies\nHands-on experience with LMW license application, customs reporting and audit readiness.\nIn-depth and practical knowledge of Malaysian import/export regulations, tax application and exemption, Incoterms, and global logistics.\nStrong people management, coaching and development capabilities.\nProficiency in SAP is preferred.\nExcellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills\nFluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin proficiency is a plus.\nWorking Conditions & Environment\n·Role based at AIXTRON Malaysia Sdn.
