The site will provide a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment for assembly & testing of our high-end systems and will contribute to engineering for the next generation of products. This requires active collaboration with other departments within the company, particularly the R&D department and subsequent communication with suppliers to ensure a clear understanding of the requirements. You are also responsible for the product acceptance of initial samples, which is preferably conducted at the suppliers’ facilities.\nResponsibilities\nDeveloping QM inspection plans, QM inspection instructions, and QM inspection procedures\nDefining quality requirements for supplier parts and, if necessary, for test equipment\nDeveloping First Sample Reports and defining inspection and acceptance criteria as well as submission levels (Defining the scope of sampling)\nIdentifying and documenting nonconformities in parts procurement\nAssisting with process approvals and process audits at suppliers and service providers\nConducting product approvals and sampling at suppliers and service providers\nCollaborating on the preparation and evaluation of quality assurance agreements\nPlanning the content and schedule for the initial sampling of supplier parts in collaboration with the development department and purchasing\nSupporting supplier development programs and the implementation of preventive measures and methods\nAnalyzing common sources of defects and product-related nonconformance incidents\nSupporting the purchasing department in supplier selection and evaluation\nSupporting and participating in improvement initiatives, projects, and FMEA analyses\nAssisting in the definition and creation of standards in collaboration with the development department\nMaintaining the key performance indicator systems specified by AIXTRON SE and creating custom metrics for analytical purposes\nQualifications & Skills\nExtensive experience in a lean manufacturing environment\nDegree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification/experience\nMicrosoft Office capable (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)\nExperience in vacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems, automation an advantage\nKnowledge of working with and processing quartz and graphite is desirable\nSeveral years of practical professional experience in the field of quality assurance\nGood knowledge of quality management methods (8D, SPC, QFD, Ishikawa, Pareto, etc.)\nSolid SAP skills in working with the logistics and QM modules\nTeam-oriented mindset and a willingness to take on responsibility\nAnalytical thinking, good teaching skills, and assertiveness\nOrganizational skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers, employees, and suppliers\nWorking Conditions\nRole based at AIXTRON Malaysia Sdn.
