You will combine technical judgment with strong people leadership to ensure your team delivers impactful solutions while maintaining high engineering standards.\nWorking closely with Product, Design, and other engineering stakeholders, you will translate business priorities into actionable technical plans, guide engineering execution, and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will also support your engineers' professional growth while ensuring our backend systems evolve to meet business and customer needs.\nGuide your team in designing and building scalable, secure backend services\nStay hands-on when needed, including coding, debugging, and reviewing critical pull requests\nStep in during production incidents and work alongside your engineers to resolve them\nTake part in architecture and system design discussions, and make sound technical decisions\nTurn product and business priorities into clear engineering roadmaps and milestones\nManage dependencies and flag delivery risks early to keep the team shipping\nCoach, mentor, and develop your engineers through regular feedback and career growth\nBuild a team culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning\nImprove engineering processes across testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident management\nPartner with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)\nProven years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years managing engineers\nStrong backend engineering background (architecture, API design, databases, production operations)\nExperience with Java and/or Golang.
