Job Description Summary
- Work in a team environment
- be able to run the asphalt plant ticket system for extended periods of time
- Perform daily inspections of plant
- Be responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and other team members
- Perform general labor duties when necessary
- Follow directions of the Foreman
- Properly follow all company policies
- Maintain daily, environmental and maintenance logs
- Loading and unloading of asphalt carriers
- Receiving inbound materials
Qualifications
- To perform this job, an individual must be competent, fast learning, and have a good attitude
- Computer knowledge preferred
- Excel in high paced work environment
- Self-driven
Education/Experience
- Minimum or high school diploma or general education degree requires
- Previous asphalt paving experience is preferred
Work Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures in the employee handbook
- Must be willing to work in a team environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Overtime hours maybe required
- Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold
- Be on time
- Be willing to train others
