The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of software engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js .\nBuild and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.\nDevelop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.\nImplement serverless solutions using Azure Functions.\nDevelop and maintain applications hosted on Azure App Services and Azure Web Apps.\nIntegrate applications using Azure Service Bus for asynchronous messaging.\nWork with Azure Storage (Blob Storage, Table Storage, Queue Storage) and Azure database services.\nDesign efficient database schemas and write optimised SQL queries.\nParticipate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including UI developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.\nEnsure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.\nFollow coding standards, best practices, and CI/CD processes.\nTroubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.\n\nRequirements: \nExperience: 6-9 years in software development.\nProven experience in developing enterprise-grade applications using Node.js and Microsoft Azure.\nStrong cloud development and backend engineering expertise.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders.\nSelf-driven, proactive, and capable of leading technical discussions and delivering high-quality solutions.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience: \nBackend Development.\nStrong hands-on experience in Node.js (7+ years preferred).\nExperience building REST APIs and microservices.\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.\nExperience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.\nMicrosoft Azure.\n\nHands-on experience with: \nAzure App Service\nAzure Web Apps\nAzure Functions\nAzure Service Bus\nAzure Storage (Blob, Queue, Table)\nAzure SQL Database and/or other Azure database services\nAzure monitoring and diagnostics (preferred)\nAzure Identity and Access Management concepts (preferred)\n\nDatabase: \nStrong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MS SQL).\nDatabase design and query optimisation.\n\nSoftware Engineering: \nStrong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nExperience with Git-based source control.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines.\n\nGood to Have: \nStrong understanding of SOLID Principles.\nKnowledge of common Design Patterns.\nExperience using GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools.\nKnowledge of SAP applications like C4C, CPQ and understanding of sales (CRM) processes.\nExposure to Power BI.\nExposure to Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.\nExperience with SAP HIP middleware for integrating enterprise applications and cloud services.\nBasic knowledge of DevOps practices and Azure DevOps.\nExperience with Docker and containerization.\nKnowledge of application performance tuning and monitoring.\n\nSoft Skills: \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business users, product owners, architects, and leadership teams.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.\nStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to mentor junior developers and perform technical reviews.\n\nEducation: \nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\nMicrosoft Azure certifications (AZ-900 AZ-204 or equivalent) are an added advantage.\n\nTeam and Environment: \nYou'll be part of a cross-functional team, working closely with a Technical Lead, a Roll-out Engineer, A team of Developers, reporting to the Project Manager -
