Shape the success of projects

As a Technical Program Manager II, you are responsible for managing product lifecycles and delivering essential strategic programs. This impactful role involves coordinating R&D teams, ensuring streamlined workflows, and maintaining comprehensive program oversight.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Diving into technical details to comprehend development processes while identifying risks or blockers early to prevent delivery disruptions.
• Collaborating with external stakeholders within Akamai - InfoSec, Pre-Sales, Sales, Marketing collaboration to ensure comprehensive visibility.
• Leveraging and setting up AI workflows to streamline program management tasks, automate reporting, and enhance data-driven visibility for the team.
• Processing dependencies and success metrics for senior internal stakeholders.
• Leading alignment across R&D, Product, and Engineering to drive accountability and ensure all teams work in a unified, cohesive manner.
• Tracking and reporting program status, process dependencies, and success metrics to senior internal stakeholders.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have +5 years of project technical management experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in Guardicore microsegmentation (EaXR, DNS Firewall, Hunt, Cloud Group) domains.
• Drive R&D SDLC efficiency by implementing and tracking AI-powered automated workflows.
• Have +5 years of technical project/program management experience, preferably in software.
• Be able to "speak the language" of R&D teams to identify technical matters and translate complex requirements into logical programs.
• Influence senior leadership and navigate complex, matrixed teams of 100+ as a collaborative problem-solver.
• Have an excellent knowledge of frameworks and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
