You will work with product, engineering and field teams every day. Your code and insights will shape the product roadmap.\nAs a Security Architect, you will be responsible for:\nInvestigating complex customer issues across the browser extension, backend services and cloud infrastructure\nFinding root causes in logs, telemetry and production data, then shipping and verifying the fix\nBuilding automation for various everyday activities and helping other teams maximize their potential\nCreating deployment tooling for enterprise environments, including MDM, GPO and mobile browsers\nPartnering with product, R&D and field teams to turn customer feedback into product improvements\nSharing knowledge through clear write-ups, runbooks and enablement for support teams and partners\nDo what you love\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave 3 years of experience in software development, solutions engineering or a similar technical role\nBe proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript, and comfortable writing Python scripts\nBe well versed in web and browser security fundamentals, including HTTP, DNS, TLS and browser extensions\nHave experience debugging production systems on AWS and Kubernetes using logs, metrics and SQL\nShow ownership of problems, from first report to verified resolution in production\nPossess great communication skills, including explaining technical findings clearly to customers in English\nAbout us\nAt Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.\nWhether you're streaming live events, scrolling social media, watching your favorite series, or managing your savings, we're the engine behind the scenes.
