Collaborating with vendors, you will evaluate pre-release hardware and provide input on future product designs. Join a team designing servers and developing firmware for a platform with over 300,000 servers across 130 countries.\nAs a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nQualifying and validating server hardware platforms and components\nEvaluating pre-production hardware and server architectures\nDriving complex hardware and system-level investigations to resolution independently\nCreating and improving validation plans, test methodologies, tools, and technical documentation\nImproving and modifying internal system-level testing frameworks\nDeveloping and maintaining Python/Bash-based tools for hardware validation, diagnostics, and automation\nCollaborating with OEMs, ODMs, vendors, and internal engineering teams\nProviding technical input into platform and component selection\nDo what you love\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nDemonstrate extensive knowledge of computer architecture and server hardware.\nHave extensive hands-on experience with hardware debugging, validation, and system integration\nDemonstrate expertise in Linux and proficiency utilizing it for engineering, diagnostics, and troubleshooting purposes.\nHave a good understanding of hardware, firmware, BIOS/UEFI, and operating system interactions\nDevelop advanced test frameworks and embedded software while supporting hardwaresoftware integration with over three programming experience in Python.\nDemonstrate genuine passion for computers and electronics, with curiosity and willingness to challenge existing approaches\nBe open for hybrid work (3 days on-site a week) in Cracow\nBe able to lift 18 kg independently\nBuild your career at Akamai\nOur ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you.
