PSEs tailor & execute Akamai's Partner training strategy for both partner & Akamai's growth.\nShape the future of the Internet\nAs a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer, you will mentor the partners of the whole sales process. You will be the technical evangelist supporting partners with the adoption of our products and services. You'll play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of our solutions, helping to close the sale.\nAs a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nWorking with partners to accelerate new customer acquisition\nEnabling partners to market, sell, implement and support Akamai solutions to customers in a self-sustaining manner\nConducting training and enablement workshops for a partner's sales, pre-sales and architect teams\nDefining a partner-specific enablement plan based on the combined Akamai and partner's sales strategy\nCollaborating with the Channel Sales team to manage partner progress and success against the enablement plan\nConducting feedback sessions with local presales to understand the challenges partner personnel face with current opportunities\nParticipating in the partner quarterly business reviews to obtain visibility and feedback from the partner.\nRepresenting needs of partners with product, marketing & services teams to drive partners' success\nDo what you love\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field\nHave 7 years' experience in a customer/partner facing role such as, technical pre-sales, account/project management, or consulting\n7+ years of experience in Internet Technologies such as HTTP, DNS, and SSL is required\nHave detailed knowledge of security, such as WAAP(WAF), DDoS, Firewall, and VPN, is required\nHave good understanding of and experience working within a channel go-to-market strategy\nHave good understanding of Cloud Security, CDN architecture, solutions, and products\nAbout us\nAt Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.\nWhether you're streaming live events, scrolling social media, watching your favorite series, or managing your savings, we're the engine behind the scenes.
