Collaboration with international cross-functional teams, including stakeholders and developers, ensures the delivery of high-quality software solutions.\nAs a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:\nARM & System Engineering: Work with ARM64/AArch64 and Linux environments, troubleshooting architecture-specific issues across applications, libraries, operating systems, and system resources.\nDeveloping automation and scripts with Python and Shell while enhancing CI/CD pipelines to optimize build reliability, validation, and release efficiency.\nInvestigating complex build and runtime failures using system-level tools, logs, core dumps, and debugging techniques to identify root causes.\nBuilding infrastructure: Collaborating with compilers, linkers, dependencies, cross-compilation, and build systems like CMake, Make, GCC, and Clang.\nWorking in an agile environment and collaborating with geographically distributed engineering teams.\nDo what you love\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nPossess 5+ of relevant experience in SDET, software engineering, build/release engineering, or a related field within computer science.\nDemonstrate hands-on expertise with Linux/Unix systems, ARM64/AArch64 architecture, and system testing using physical HIL setups or target emulators.\nHave strong programming and scripting skills in Python and Shell, with experience developing automation for build, validation, and release processes.\nDemonstrate expertise in CI/CD and source-control tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Git while resolving pipeline issues.\nExhibit outstanding debugging and root-cause analysis skills using tools such as GDB, strace, perf, valgrind, core dumps, and Linux utilities.\nHave experience validating DevSecOps security controls (SonarQube, Blackduck, SBOM, Cosign) and automated testing of REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases.\nAbout us\nAt Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day.\nWhether you're streaming live events, scrolling social media, watching your favorite series, or managing your savings, we're the engine behind the scenes.
