Akido Labs operates medical clinics built around ScopeAI, a system that performs the diagnostic reasoning while a medical assistant sees the patient. Founded in 2015 in Los Angeles, it targets underserved communities where physician supply is scarce. The company both develops the models and delivers the care itself.

Akido builds AI-powered doctors. Akido is the first AI-native care provider, combining cutting-edge technology with a nationwide medical network to address America’s physician shortage and make exceptional healthcare universal. Its AI empowers doctors to deliver faster, more accurate, and more compassionate care.

Serving 500K+ patients across California, Rhode Island, and New York, Akido offers primary and specialty care in 26 specialties-from serving unhoused communities  in Los Angeles to  ride-share drivers  in New York.

Founded in 2015 (YC W15), Akido is expanding its risk-bearing care models and scaling ScopeAI, its breakthrough clinical AI platform. Read more about Akido’s $60M Series B. More info at Akidolabs.com.

The Opportunity

This is a critical role as RI Primary Care Medical Group continues to grow through acquisition. Each newly acquired practice comes with its own workflows, staff habits, and legacy system experience. As we expand across multiple locations, clinical staff need a consistent, reliable training and support experience. This role would own the development and maintenance of training materials, ensure consistency across sites, and serve as an accessible frontline resource for staff. This specialist would also support the integration and adoption of additional tools as we continue to expand our technology footprint. A visible, dedicated training and support presence signals to newly acquired staff that we take their experience seriously - directly supporting engagement and retention during periods of significant change.
