description\nAssignments\nWe are looking for a TCU Calibration Engineer to join the team and contribute to the calibration and validation of an electrified Dual Clutch Transmission (eDCT) system.\nYour main responsibilities include:\nPerforming the calibration work packages assigned to you, using dedicated equipment and applying the correct processes\nFine-tuning parameters, validating control strategies, and ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability of the system under different driving scenarios\nDefining and conducting test plans to calibrate and validate the eDCT system under various operating conditions and test setups (transmission test bench, chassis dynamometer, vehicle)\nPerforming drivability assessments (objective and subjective), supported by data acquisition systems\nManaging the calibration datasets of the software modules assigned to you\nCollaborating with different disciplines to solve technical roadblocks\nInteracting and exchanging experience with customers, service providers, and teammates across various locations\nBusiness Industry\nAutomotive\nProfile\nThe profile\nBackground\nYou hold a Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent by experience, with a strong interest in the automotive sector.\nMust Have\n2 to 6 years of experience as a powertrain calibration and/or controls engineer, ideally in drivability, shift quality, torque control, or related areas\nStrong automotive background and solid knowledge of powertrain dynamics\nGood knowledge of block diagrams and Matlab/Simulink\nExperience with calibration tools and data acquisition systems (e.g. Vector CANape, ETAS INCA)\nProficient in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate and report results clearly\nValid EU driving licence (category B)\nFlexible mindset, willing to travel abroad and to work in either Sint-Truiden or Lommel\nGoal-oriented, persevering,
