The related tasks may cover part or all the range of activities regarding customer needs, mission, function, architectural design, and life cycle of the hardware solution (requirements and specialty engineering, design, development, integration and verification)\nBusiness Industry\nDefence\nProfile\nResponsibilities:\nTo include, but not be limited to:\nDefines the Hardware development cycle in consistency with that of upper/same level elements (dependencies, co-engineering activities).\nTailors the Hardware engineering environment (process, practices and tools) according to Company and Project requirements.\nAllocates responsibilities to individual contributors\nParticipates in the specification of the functions and interfaces of products to be developed.\nParticipates in the definition of the architecture, and the allocation of functions, to the components for which they have primary responsibility.\nSkills:\nExperience within Systems, Hardware or Electronics Engineering within a highly regulated environment, working with multi-discipline teams of engineers\nExperience of technical leadership of either small teams or programmes of work\nProject or Programme delivery experience/knowledge would be desirable\nEngineering Lifecycle experience, ideally Chorus2 DDQS (Design, Develop, Qualify the Solution) but experience with alternative methodologies/tools is required\nDesirable experience with Project tracking, ideally Jira but other agile management tools would be desirable although not essential\nExperience Required:\nProven project or work package delivery experience\nUnderstanding of Engineering principles (Ideally Hardware)\nLeadership\nProject Tracking and resource management\nBudget/Financial awareness\nNaval/Maritime background\nPosition
