This includes hardware maintenance, preventive and corrective support, software validation, system testing, spare parts management, and ensuring compliance with stringent service level agreements (SLAs).\nThis role is ideal for engineers who enjoy troubleshooting complex infrastructure environments and are passionate about delivering high service availability within a mission-critical operational environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nCorrective Maintenance & Incident ResponsePerform corrective maintenance activities to restore hardware and software components following system failures.\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues to minimise downtime and restore services within defined SLAs.\nMonitor and maintain operational metrics including:System AvailabilityMean Time Between Failures (MTBF)Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)System DowntimeHardware failure trends\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, software versions, firmware updates, and security patches.\nSoftware Testing & System ValidationPerform software and system validation following bug fixes, upgrades, and patch deployments.\nVerify system configurations before production deployment.\nExecute functional testing to ensure system stability and reliability.\nPreventive MaintenanceConduct scheduled preventive maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance plans and checklists.\nPerform system inspections, hardware servicing, calibration, configuration verification, and health checks.\nPrepare and submit preventive maintenance reports upon completion.\nSpare Parts & Asset ManagementManage spare parts inventory and maintenance equipment stored onsite.\nPerform inventory control, issuance, replenishment, and disposal activities.\nConduct serviceability checks on spare equipment and coordinate repairs where necessary.\nMonitor hardware lifecycle, including End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) planning.\nVendor & Equipment CoordinationCoordinate with external vendors for equipment calibration and maintenance activities.\nEnsure calibration schedules are maintained for all maintenance and testing equipment.\nOperations SupportParticipate in 24x7 shift operations to support business-critical systems.\nAssist in root cause investigations and continuous service improvement initiatives.\nSupport operational documentation and knowledge sharing within the engineering team.\nPerform additional operational support activities as assigned.\nRequirements\nEducationDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.\nExperienceMinimum 1–2 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.\nExperience supporting one or more of the following:Windows/Linux ServersNetwork InfrastructureFirewallsServer Virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V)Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)Identity & Access Management (PIM/PAM)\nExperience supporting mission-critical systems with high availability requirements (99.9% uptime or above) is highly desirable.\nFamiliarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.\nTechnical Skills\nExperience in one or more of the following:\nWindows Server\nLinux\nVMware / Hyper-V\nTCP/IP Networking\nNetwork Switches & Routers\nFirewalls\nActive Directory\nUPS Systems\nPIM / PAM solutions\nHardware troubleshooting\nSystem monitoring tools\nIncident Management\nChange Management\nITSM processes\nPreferred Attributes\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nCustomer-focused with a strong service mindset.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAble to interpret technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system schematics.\nSelf-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies.\nTeam player with the ability to work independently when required.\nWorking EnvironmentShift Schedule & Working ArrangementsEngineers will work on a rotating shift pattern of 3 consecutive working days followed by 2 days off, then 2 consecutive working days followed by 3 days off. This rotation ensures continuous operational coverage while providing adequate rest periods.\nWorking hours and shift assignments will be scheduled according to the project roster and may be adjusted based on operational requirements.\nEngineers will be required to participate in an on-call/standby roster as required by project needs.
