Clinical manufacturing is key in bringing new\nmolecules from lab development work until launch for a broad portfolio of innovative vaccines, biologicals and\nsmall molecules. Our department forms the bridge between R&D development activities and the manufacturing\nprocess in commercial plants. To further improve the sustainability of our manufacturing processes and future\nproducts, we are looking for a PE sustainability.\n“The project engineer sustainability will support our next steps on sustainability”\nWe strongly believe in teamwork! Hence, the tasks listed below are typical for the PE sustainability, but the result\nof the team is paramount.\nTasks\nThe PE will be involved in various sustainability related efforts for the Puurs Clinical manufacturing.\nKey responsibilities are:\nIdentify, evaluate & follow-up different (potential) sustainability projects for Puurs Clinical manufacturing\nCollaborate and communicate with different departments within Pfizer (Puurs & global) and external parties\nto collect necessary information & data on sustainability projects.\nContribute to tools that enable the assessment of the environmental impact of different options when\nmaking business decisions\nEnsure that new facilities and new processes within the Clinical Manufacturing are designed or operated\nto ensure sustainable manufacturing.\nBusiness Industry\nLife sciences\nProfile\nSkillset/attitude\nHands-on (engineering) mindset with a strong personal affinity for sustainability\nAble to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams & to interact with different stakeholders\nFlexible, can thrive in a dynamic environment\nCan think both high level/strategic and at the same time be hands-on when doing data collection or\npreparing & executing tests/analyses\nHigh sense of personal ownership towards sustainability\nWilling to understand the end-to-end pharmaceutical (aseptic) manufacturing
