Implement solutions in one or more areas related to Segment Routing MPLS and Segment Routing IPv6 including TI-LFA, QoS, BFD and SDN technologies in the IPI OcNOS (Network Operating System).\n\n- Design/implement Hardware Abstraction layer code to integrate merchant silicon (and SDKs) to provide seamless forwarding plane solutions which can be leveraged across different OcNOS SKU's.\n\n- Write detailed Design specs, coding, unit and functional testing in Agile and waterfall software development environment.\n\n- Participate in Architectural discussions, Design reviews, peer code review and QA test plan review.\n\n- Work with multi-site Development/Architecture team to implement the above.\n\n- Troubleshoot and debug protocol-related issues in both lab and customer environments.\n\nQualifications:\n\n- Must have 7+ years of experience in design and development of Layer 3 Networking protocols including IS-IS, OSPF and BGP.\n\n- Hands-on development experience in Segment Routing domain (SR-MPLS, OSPF-SR, IS-IS SR, TI-LFA, BFD, QoS) is preferred.\n\n- Hands-on development experience with one or more MPLS protocols (LDP, RSVP, BGP LU) is preferred.\n\n- Working knowledge of different Layer 2 and Layer 3 services on top of Segment Routing or MPLS transports (L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN).\n\n- Working Knowledge of Segment Routing in the IPv6 data plane is highly desirable.\n\n- Hands on experience with ipv4/ipv6 IP protocols, Access Lists, Route maps and Policies.\n\n- Experience with Forwarding plane software, Broadcom SDK (Jericho+ chipset) is highly desired.\n\n- Very Strong C/C++ coding and Debugging skills.\n\n- Familiarity with network testing and debugging tools (GDB, Valgrind, GCov).\n\n- Development experience in multi-threaded environment
