As of June 30, 2026, Aksia advises on over $353bn and manages $38bn of client capital. \nPosition Overview \nAksia is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate Accountant to support our Administration team with invoice preparation, client billing, payment tracking, and accounts receivable reconciliations. This position is based in Aksia’s Athens office and will include regular interaction with global colleagues, and clients. \nThis role operates during the hours of 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Greek local time. \nResponsibilities \nPrepare, issue, and accurately record client invoices in the Accounts Receivable system based on approved billing schedules and executed client contracts \nMonitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on overdue balances, and escalate collection matters as appropriate \nApply customer and client payments accurately and reconcile cash receipts to outstanding accounts \nReconcile customer accounts, bank activity, and AR subledger balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner \nRespond to client and internal inquiries regarding invoices, payment status, account balances, and billing matters \nProcess approved billing adjustments, credit notes, and refunds in accordance with company policy and established controls \nEnsure complete documentation and a clear audit trail for all AR transactions \nAssist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable, including account reconciliations and reporting \nQualifications \nUndergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with a strong academic record \nOver 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, or a similar finance role in a multinational environment \nFamiliarity with AR systems / ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.) \nExperience with invoicing, cash applications, account reconciliations, and collections follow-up \nStrong Excel skills and AI oriented \nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English \nCollaborative, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced investment
