We are currently looking for a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join our subsidiary, Hellenic Quarries S.A., for its quarry operations in Thessaly.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily quarry operations, including excavation, drilling and blasting activities, and internal haulage
• Develop and implement operational plans, including production schedules and resource allocation
• Monitor and manage inventories of raw materials, consumables and critical spare parts
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Collaborate with Sales and Commercial team to align production output with market demand and customer requirements
• Monitor operational performance, identify opportunities to improve productivity and cost efficiency, and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining or Mineral Resources Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in mine planning, geological and/or surveying software will be considered an asset.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Proficiency in English, both written and oral
• Holder of a valid Category B driving license
• Blasting License will be considered as an asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
