The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project plans, schedules, risks, resources, and deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and leading business process reengineering efforts to improve workflows, automate non-value-added activities, and ensure project requirements are delivered within established timeframes and resource constraints.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and manage complex projects involving multiple teams, stakeholders, deliverables, and dependencies.\nIndependently manage multiple projects or a single large, highly complex project.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverable timelines.\nAdvise Government stakeholders regarding project requirements, risks, issues, schedules, scope, and resources.\nManage Agile teams and coordinate activities across technical and functional stakeholders.\nDirect project execution within established schedules and resource constraints.\nReview project work products for completeness, quality, accuracy, and adherence to customer requirements.\nIdentify, document, escalate, and support mitigation of risks and issues.\nLead or support Business Process Reengineering initiatives.\nAnalyze and redesign workflows within and across organizations to optimize end-to-end processes.\nIdentify opportunities to automate or eliminate non-value-added activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.\n10+ years of experience in program management, project management, Agile team management, or related PWS activities.\nExperience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.\nDemonstrated experience with Business Process Reengineering.\nExperience performing workflow and process analysis and redesign.\nExperience managing Agile teams.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to independently manage complex requirements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional Program/Project Management certification, such as PMP.\nDHS, ICE, or other federal experience.\nExperience with modernization or business process transformation.\nSecurity and Eligibility Requirements\nMust be a United States citizen and have the ability to obtain a federal clearance. \nSalary Range\nMinimum $135,000 - Maximum $155, 000 annually\nThe salary range listed for this position reflects Akumen, Inc.'s current estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, education, certifications, technical skills, security clearance status, geographic location, and alignment with contract, labor category, and customer requirements.
