The Analyst will join a QA team that is implementing automated test frameworks for both Azure custom development and ServiceNow (using ATF). The team is looking for a mid-level QA Analyst with demonstrated experience and exposure to automation testing frameworks and testing tools. \nResponsibilities:\nPlan and implement various types of testing (e.g., regression, manual, functional, data validation, system integration, load, or performance tests) for new and existing functionality.\nWork closely with development teams to design testing strategies and integrate testing into the development process.\nPlan, create, execute, and automate test cases, collaborating with business partners, developers, and other stakeholders.\nDocument and analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.\nIsolate, reproduce, manage, and maintain defects and test case databases, and verify fixes.\nSupport user acceptance testing conducted by business partners or end users.\nConduct exploratory testing and risk analysis for complex features, especially those that span across platforms or teams.\nDefine and champion quality and testing best practices among development team in an Agile environment.\nCollaborate and share information with other software QA engineers.\nWrite test cases, map out test scenarios, design reusable automated test scripts, and execute tests daily.\nTest solutions in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other legacy and/or external systems.\nWork closely with developers, professional services team, and product owners to define the testing components to validate requirements against developed software.\nIdentify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plans.\nIdentify any potential quality issues per the defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.\nEnsure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.\nIsolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline, or equivalent related experience.\n5-8 years of experience in manual testing in a full lifecycle / agile environment.\n1-2 years of experience in automation testing, including testing methodologies, tools, and best practice.\nHands-on experience testing software applications in Azure cloud environment\nStrong background in Azure Automated testing \nExperience testing, configuring, and/or customizing applications built on the ServiceNow platform.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).\nProficiency in Java programming and SQL.\nFamiliarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.\nKnowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).\nExperience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).\nUnderstanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.\nClearance Requirement:\nMust have active Secret clearance or higher.\nSalary Range\nMinimum $105,000 - Maximum $135,000 annually\nThe salary range listed for this position reflects Akumen, Inc.'s current estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.
