You will take ownership of high-impact projects, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative ServiceNow applications.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow applications, including custom modules, workflows, forms, and dashboards.\nArchitect scalable solutions that align with organizational goals and ServiceNow best practices.\nDevelop reusable components and libraries to streamline development and improve maintainability.\nDesign and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 or API keys.\nOversee testing strategies, including system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).\nOptimize workflows, scripts, and integrations to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.\nPlan and execute ServiceNow upgrades, including testing and validating customizations and integrations for compatibility with new platform versions.\nLead migration efforts for legacy systems and ensure seamless transitions to ServiceNow.\nCreate and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and process workflows.\nDevelop training materials and mentor junior developers to build team expertise.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and architecture.\nProven ability to design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow applications, including custom modules, workflows, forms, and dashboards.\nAdvanced proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Glide, with experience writing efficient and reusable client-side and server-side scripts.\nExperience working with UI Builder and other recent ServiceNow technologies.\nHands-on experience designing and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and authentication mechanisms.\nDeep knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., CSM, ITSM, ITOM, PSDS, SecOps, GRC, CSM) and platform optimization techniques.\nDesired Qualifications\nCertified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator \nCMDB Fundamentals\nClearance Requirement:\nMust have an Active Secret clearance or higher.\nSalary Range\nMinimum $140,000 - Maximum $180,000 annually\nThe salary range listed for this position reflects Akumen, Inc.'s current estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.
