Our Group employs approximately 2000 people from 41 different nationalities, which contributes to our multicultural and multi-national environment.\nEmirates Electrical Engineering is a specialized business platform that provides comprehensive turnkey solutions combining development, financing, construction and operation of solar rooftops for commercial and industrial building in the UAE, also a responsive and flexible organization dedicated for the design and construction of turnkey electrical power projects such as High Voltage Substations, Cable Networks and Transmission Lines.\nJob Purpose\nThe incumbent is responsible to study and understand the requisition of materials from the various jobs/contracts, source for ideal suppliers, negotiate the optimum prices and manage appropriate logistics for delivery. He will effectively manage the inventory levels as per the prescribed norms.\nJob Responsibilities\nAssist the superior in procuring Materials, Equipment’s, Equipment hire, Labour Hire, Subcontracts and Services to the job site according to the company's purchasing policies and procedures\nObtain and review quotes from Suppliers, and make recommendations to the Senior Officer Purchase.\nPlace orders with Suppliers and ensure timely delivery of Materials, Equipment’s, Equipment hire, Labour Hire, Subcontracts and Services to the job site\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases and inventory\nMonitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of products\nWork closely with Divisional Managers, Project Managers, Site Managers and other team members so as to understand the material / service requirements in order procure the same as per the site requirements\nIdentify potential cost savings opportunities and report them to the superiors\nEnsure compliance with all specification and quantities required for the project including regulatory and legal requirements\nDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in order to improve purchase experience\nContinuously evaluate and improve the procurement process to increase efficiency and reduce costs\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Senior Officer Purchase / Management\nJob Requirements\nQualifications\nGraduation preferably in Commerce / Diploma in Electrical Engineering\nSupply chain certification would be a plus\nExperience\n5 years of experience in Project materials purchase in an Electrical Contracting Company - Dealing in High Voltage, Low Voltage, Solar, Energy Savings etc.\nProficient in ERP - MM Module, SAP would be plus.\nKnowledge & Skills\nProficient in Microsoft Excel & MS Office\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nKnowledge of construction materials, equipment, and supply chain management\nAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively\nAt Al Rostamani Group, we seek talented people who work hard to achieve great things.
